Overview

TaskingNow ("we", "us") provides food safety checklist, HACCP, and team operations software for restaurants and food businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, password (stored hashed), role, timezone, and language preference.
• Organization data: business name, locations, stations, team memberships, job titles, and invitation details.
• Operational content: checklists, templates, corrective actions, photos you upload, clock-in/out events, and HACCP-related records you create in the app.
• Billing information: subscription status and payment metadata processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Technical data: device/browser type, IP address, and basic usage logs needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve TaskingNow features for your organization.
• Authenticate users, send invitations, password resets, and operational reminders.
• Process subscriptions and send billing-related notices.
• Detect abuse, troubleshoot issues, and protect the security of the service.
• Comply with legal obligations where applicable.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run TaskingNow (for example authentication, database hosting, email delivery, and payment processing), under agreements that limit use to providing those services, or when required by law.

Data retention

We retain account and operational records for as long as your organization uses TaskingNow and for a reasonable period afterward to support exports, billing disputes, security, and legal requirements. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please protect your credentials and station PINs.

Your choices

Depending on your role, you can update profile details in the app, request access or correction of personal data, and ask us to delete your account. Organization owners control team membership and operational data for their business.

Children

TaskingNow is intended for workplace use by businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
